I’m Marissa! Actor, producer, voiceover artist, Meisner coach at Shine on Performing Arts in Austin (where I also hold a seat on the theatre’s Board of Directors), former film festival programmer, and full-time feeler of all the emotions. Whew.

As you might have noticed, I’ve never fit into just one box. The world is way too weird and wonderful for that. There are so many perspectives to explore, places to go, and experiences to have; it never felt fair to me that we only get one life to try to feel and do it all. So, I became an actor. It is my way of trying to squeeze as many lifetimes as I can into my time here. The work is challenging and magical and I can’t imagine living any other way.
